FAQs

  • In most cases in England and Wales court proceedings must begin within three years of your accident. These time limits do not apply to children or people who are unable to manage their legal affairs because of mental incapacity. Different time limits apply when accidents occur outside England and Wales, and also when the injury was caused by a defective product. In some rare cases the courts may allow a claim outside of the time limit period. This means that even if you believe the time limit for your claim has expired, it’s worth contacting a lawyer to seek advice on whether you could still claim. When you contact us we will advise you on all the time limits that apply to your claim. By contacting us as soon as possible following an accident at work you give yourself the best chance of a successful claim.
